Wire Tension Engineering: The floor of a Big Herdsman cage is not just a mesh; it is a spring-tensioned surface. It must be firm enough to support the hen but flexible enough to “catch” the egg without a micro-fracture.
Acoustic Damping: Our Egg Collection System uses specialized materials at transition points. Where the egg moves from the cage row to the central belt, we utilize “finger-transfers” that align the eggs, preventing them from colliding with one another.
Manual egg collection is the highest labor cost in non-automated farms. By transitioning to a Big Herdsman Poultry Production solution, labor is redirected toward management and biosecurity rather than physical lifting.
The Lift System: Our vertical elevators can move eggs from 8 or 10 tiers of cages simultaneously, maintaining a consistent flow rate to the packing room.

Our Feeding System allows for “Phase Feeding.” During the afternoon, when the shell is being formed inside the hen, our system can deliver a specific diet higher in large-particle calcium, ensuring that by the time the egg reaches the Egg Collection belt the next morning, it is structurally sound.
