New Benchmark for Smart Layer Production: Big Herdsman Powers Beiliu Dafa’s 1.2-Million-Layer Demonstration Farm

Large-scale layer farming hinges on environmental control, feeding, and egg safety, all of which directly affect bottom-line profitability. To address this gap, Guangxi Beiliu Dafa Breeding Co., Ltd. partnered with Big Herdsman to build 13 high-standard automated layer houses, with a current flock size of 1.2 million layers.

Big Herdsman provided its 5-row, 9-tier fully automatic intelligent layer production lines for the entire base, establishing a fully enclosed, end-to-end automated farming system. Intelligent precision control is delivered through three core technical systems:

Intelligent Environmental Control System: It monitors key environmental parameters such as indoor temperature and humidity in real time and automatically adjusts ventilation and heating equipment. The system continuously maintains optimal climate conditions for the flock, minimizing the impact of environmental stress on laying performance.

Chain Automatic Feeding System: It delivers uniform and precise automated feed distribution, ensuring consistent feed access and balanced nutrition. It also reduces feed waste and streamlines feeding operations.

Central Egg Collection System: Adopting a fully off-ground automated conveying design, it smoothly handles egg collection and transportation. The system greatly reduces egg breakage and surface contamination, safeguarding egg quality from the point of lay.

Equipped with Big Herdsman’s integrated intelligent farming system, the farm produces eggs with glossy, uniform shell color and excellent shell quality. These high-quality, safe eggs are well received in the market.
