800,000 Brand Eggs Produced Daily: Big Herdsman Empowers Jiangxi Yufengman’s 1M-Layer Smart Farm

From scattered, extensive traditional free-range farming to large-scale and intelligent breeding with one million laying hens, Big Herdsman has helped Jiangxi Yufengman Agricultural Base realize coordinated operation of six major intelligent breeding systems and build a standardized, high-efficiency and eco-friendly modern “Egg Factory”.

Project Scale & Development

Covering a total land area of 126 mu, the base has constructed 10 high-standard intelligent layer houses. Equipped with advanced intelligent breeding equipment from Big Herdsman, the project integrates cage, egg collection, environmental control, feeding, manure cleaning and IoT management systems. Supported by a data-driven and fully controllable intelligent framework, it pioneers a new smart breeding model and eliminates reliance on empirical manual management.

Five Core Intelligent Modules

Cage System：Designed with scientific stacked layer cages to optimize inner space for comfortable chicken growth. It supports large-scale grouping, routine inspection and batch management, greatly refining breeding precision.

Environmental Control System：Monitors key parameters including indoor temperature, humidity, ventilation and lighting duration in real time. It automatically regulates fans, cooling pads and air inlets to stabilize barn environment against seasonal changes, maintaining constant temperature, humidity and fresh airflow year-round to safeguard flock health and laying performance.

Automatic Feeding & Drinking System：Delivers rationed feed and drinking water on fixed schedules to ensure balanced nutrition and minimize manual errors.

Egg Collection System：Full-automatic central egg collection line prevents egg dropping, collision and breakage, transporting intact eggs directly to egg storage warehouse.

Automatic Manure Cleaning System：Conveyor-type automatic manure removal enables daily waste collection. All manure is centrally transported to organic fertilizer workshops for harmless treatment and resource recycling, solving the critical waste disposal challenge of large-scale breeding.

The completion of Jiangxi Yufengman’s 1-million-layer smart breeding base sets an industrial benchmark for China’s layer farming upgrade, proving factory-style, standardized, data-based and eco-friendly large-scale breeding is achievable.
